Installation of WinPatrol is straight-forward. This step-by-step is provided for those folks who are not comfortable with downloading and installing software.
To locate the download file for WinPatrol, go to http://www.winpatrol.com/download.html and click the link as shown in this sample:
When presented with the following prompt, click the Save File option:
If it does not come up automatically, navigate to your download folder. When the download is completed, double-click the wpsetup.exe file to launch the installer. (Windows Vista users: click ok to the UAC Prompt.)
Click OK:

The sample images below are from an earlier version of WinPatrol. The downloaded executable file will have the current version number, matching the version from the WinPatrol download site and copyright date will include the current year).Click Next:
Accept the default location or Browse to another location if that is your preference and click the Install button.
Click Finish:
